had really really nice stay for $ 30 a night, the staff were particularly helpful, location was wonderful walk to the main temple. our breakfasts were fine with several options. location: the hotel was not far from the royal palace museum, the steps to climb mount phousi, the main street and the river, and the morning and night markets.

I had a very nice stay for the price at Villa Meuang Lao. My room was spotless and had a private bathroom. It was equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, a fridge, and glassware. the staff were exceptionally nice and the location was great, close to the river front with good food options.

Despite being not overly expensive, it offered good value for money. the location was fantastic, right by the river and close to the main attractions on the Peninsula. the owner and his family were friendly and welcoming, and even greeted us with a fresh mango shake. They also arranged transportation for us when we needed it. the service provided by Bill and the ladies was outstanding. They even brought us a cold juice every evening. Bill was incredibly helpful in organizing our trips to Kuang Si Falls and the Alms ceremony with the monks. the room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast was delicious. we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning in the future. Cons: Hard to think of anything! 😊.
